Christmas Morning 2007

Christmas was as magical as ever this year. Kianah is at that perfect age for enjoying Christmas. I think Shunsuke is understanding what Christmas is like for children growing up in Canada. He was the one outside with Kianah at 10:30pm Christmas Eve sprinkling "magic reindeer food" (a.k.a oatmeal), on the driveway. Then he was also the one outside at 2am sweeping it off the driveway!! Santa was good to us all!!

Lets get into these gifts!!

Best part of Christmas baking...

The funny part is that Tysei's beater doesn't have anything on it..but he is just as happy

Walking

He has been practicing ever since....

Tysei's first steps

Tysei started to take some steps earlier this month...shortly after he turned 8 months. (Don't forget to click the box to see the video)

Kianah's ready for her Christmas Concert

Kianah had her first official school Christmas concert on December 13th. Her class sang four songs (2 English and 2 Spanish). Kianah and Sami played the tambourines. It was very cute, but we only took video and no photo's. The concert was great and featured songs and dances from many cultures. Nothing like a school Christmas concert to put you in a festive mood....

X-mas in the Mountains

We had an early Christmas in Canmore Alberta with My Aunt Connie, Uncle Jim and cousin Sam. We stayed in a villa and roasted chestnuts, opened presents and listened to Christmas tunes. The trip was complete with outdoor wintery hot tubs, ice skating and of course a little shopping!

Ty's New Favourite Spot

Kianah is great at sharing!

Tysei was next with the chicken pox. It didn't slow him down much! He got over his really quickly, but November ended up being a month away from other kids (other than the few that gladly visited in hopes to get the pox over with:)
