Vacation At Last...

We love vacation time! We flew from Calgary to Greenville South Carolina for a family wedding and then drove to Charleston South Carolina to spend a week at the beach with family and friends and to get ready for kim's brother's wedding the following weekend. The whole trip was lots of fun with a surprise at the end....

Uncle Terry and Auntie Jill's wedding was so much fun! It was a full day of activity and the kids outlasted the adults on the dance floor. Kianah and Kyla made fantastic flower girls!

A SURPRISE ENDING...

We were all a little sad to say good-bye to the beach last Monday. We were out of our condo by 10am and killed some time shopping, while waiting for our afternoon flights. We arrived at the airport right on time, returned our car rental and went to the desk to check in with luggage piled to the ceiling. Well, surprise surprise Expedia had canceled our flights on us. So we were stuck at the airport, at 2pm with no flights home with an option to fly out the next day for $3, 200.
So Shunsuke and I put our heads together and came up with an alternative plan. By
4pm we were in a SUV rental driving to Florida (6 hours). We spent a day there, went to Disney world and flew home on Wednesday for 1/3 of the cost. We had a blast!
