Hair Cut

Kianah had her first "real" haircut today. Mom has been cutting her hair since about 8 months...but she has been hearing about this place "just for kids" in our neighbourhood. We had so much fun...and she enjoyed chatting with Hailey the hairdresser. She wanted to cut it to her chin...but we compromised....

Music Teacher

On Saturday while Kim worked on her course, Shunsuke and Kianah made a piano so Kianah could hold "music lessons" in our basement. The alternative was carrying the real piano downstairs...this was a better option. I think they did a pretty good job!

SPRING...almost

We have had warm weather this week with the Chinook winds (warm winds) that Calgary is famous for. So it feels like spring and we can enjoy some time at the park and riding our bikes. Our neighbour just returned this tricycle for Tysei and he was all over it. We can bet that he will be cruisin' around on it by this summer.

Kianah had a performance at school but I had to cut my taping short because I had Tysei in the sling and he was grabbing for the camera. However she is always willing to perform for us at home!!

I also taped Tysei going around the table in our kitchen because he can spend hours doing just that. He likes for someone to clap for him after he makes it around...this is such a fun age.

Snow Day

Friday was a blizzard-y cold day, so we retreated indoors. Kianah spent the morning making Valentine cards and chocolate suckers for her friends. When Ty woke up from his nap we blew up the swimming pool in our living room. It was lots of fun and got us thinking about summer......
