Here it is

Well here it is....
Kianah was chosen to sing a solo at this year's winter concert. She has never taken any lessons, but loves to sing. All the music ( including piano) was also played by students, but I was not able to capture everyone in the shot. Kianah woke up with a nasty cold a few days before, but was able to sing through it. The middle bit was meant to be sung by all students, but because she had the mic, you can only hear her. Overall she had a great time!

Annual Gingerbread

Well it seems that every year we do a gingerbread house..and this year was no exception, that along with some fancy bread from our local bakery.

Perfect Evening

We had the perfect evening a few weeks ago. Our plan was to head to a local mall for x-mas shopping and we passed by this street that was lit up with lights. So we swung by Starbucks and then went for a walk. It lead us around a few blocks and we ended up at a park, where the kids played for awhile by the light of the Christmas lights. Then across the street an orchestra began an outdoor concert with Christmas music. It was one of those moments where everything just seemed "perfect" (and much better than x-mas shopping in a mall). I tried to capture it on my Iphone.

Good-bye

Now its our turn to say good-bye!! One of Kianah's classmates who she has become very close to is moving to Tokyo with her family. We enjoyed dinner with them a few weeks ago. We will miss them, but certainly glad we had the chance to meet!!
