Kianah is constantly working on new songs on the piano. She loves and hates her lessons all at the same time. I guess its our job to encourage her (although we both only lasted for a couple of years in lessons ourselves) This is one of her songs from last week.

Ty has started to feed himself and will no longer accept that baby food mush. So he is eating bits and pieces of adult food..along with whatever he picks up off the floor.

January

January seems to be the month we really get into the outdoor winter sports. Hopefully we will get some more snow soon and will capture lots of outdoor moments for you. Skating and toboganning are both popular with Kianah and we hope to skate after school most days. You can see the roof of Kianah's school in the photo.

NEW YEARS EVE

We spent New Years with our good friends Maija, Al, Tally and Sylvie. Here are some photo's taken shortly before 2008, and the girls in bed...not anywhere near sleeping.

At the Zoo

Our Zoo has a FESTIVE LIGHTS SHOW every winter that is fantastic. Over two million lights in various displays, lots of fun activities and tons of outdoor fire pitts. So one wintery night every year between Christmas and New Years we get dressed warmly grab our coffee (and sometimes Bailey's) and head out. The kids slept so well that night!!
