Trip to the Snow

We went to visit a site where I will take the preschoolers in a few weeks. We certainly DO NOT miss the snow, but an afternoon of it is okay once and awhile!!

First Time On Skates

After a chilly weekend indoors we headed to a local arena to give Ty his first experience on skates. We figured if he gonna have "Conlin" in his name he had better learn to skate before he turns 3! He decided to wear all the gear he got last year from Grandma and Poppa.

He loved it and wanted to keep going! After an hour, mom's back was getting pretty stiff. Not bad though for his first hour on skates!

Snow in Kyoto

It snowed on and off all day Saturday and a little on Sunday. It was nice to see the white stuff, but after last year in Calgary...we were happy to see it melting as quickly as it was falling!

The kids slipped out the bedroom balcony on Sunday morning to make some foot prints in the snow and throw a few snowballs at their dad in his pajama's.

Kianah's tooth

Well, there is no stopping now. Kianah lost her big front tooth and even though its not the first tooth to go....it will certainly change her look! She will now look like a "Big Kid" forever.........are there support groups for this??
